Job Description Summary:
Provide industry-leading DFT (Design For Test) methodology or deployment service to customer by using Mentor Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) and Built In Self Test (BIST) tools (such as Fastscan, Flextest, MemoryBIST, LogicBIST, BoundaryScan, SOCScan, TestKompress).
Recognize and communicate potential business opportunities to support the growth objectives of Mentors consulting business
Develop knowledge of customer processes and design methodologies to increase the value of consulting engagement’s
Work collaboratively with team and client to successfully deliver Mentor Consulting’s products and services
Develop understanding of MCD, the consulting business, delivery lifecycle and methodologies.
Travel is a must for this position.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong customer services attitude with excellent communication and problem solving skills; hands-on and a self-starter, able to work independently but still build relationships with Managers and with customers.
Knowledge and experience with HDL-based, register-transfer-level (RTL), digital logic design, verification languages, and functional verification methodology. This experience should include some of the following: VHDL and Verilog HDL simulation, synthesis and static timing analysis plus Assertion-Based Verification, including familiarity with OVL assertions, SystemC, SystemVerilog and/or PSL. Experience should also include design-for-test (DFT) implementation tools.
Three years of design experience in DFT solution implementation, and a good understanding of backend design considerations. Experience in Memory design or Memory BIST implementation will be a big plus.
Education: BSEE (min) MSEE and above is a plus
