Job Description Summary:
Experience as an Oracle Apps DBA (5 years + experience) [Note: Not a DBA of Oracle application]
Ability to assist developers with SQL development and tuning
Ability to identify and implement database efficiencies, like materialized view, views, indices, and de-normalizations
Manage development, model office, pre-production, and production database environments
Load data into database environments using SQL Loader or other similar tools.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic Qualifications:
Overall 5 to 6 years of experience in Oracle Database programming.
Experience in fine tuning PL/SQL queries to improve query performance, understanding DB statistics and suggesting improvements in DB performance is advantageous
