Job Description Summary:
Manage a medium-sized team of individual contributors and Tech leads in providing direct user support for Linux, Mac and Microsoft desktops/laptops and user access to corporate network and applications both on the network as well as through remote VPN access
Coordinate and troubleshoot corporate services such as telephony, video conferencing, remote access and mobile
Contribute to Google office relocations and expansions while working with cross-cultural and geographically distributed teams
Take responsibility for the implementation of various IT projects, which can involve development, logistics, maintenance, troubleshooting, education, and emergency response
Basic Qualifications:
BS/MS degree or equivalent. CS or related degrees preferred.
At least 8 years experience with proven leadership of teams and/or projects and customer groups across large geographic areas
Proven experience delivering total access, communication and collaboration end point solutions with a strong preference for proven track records of innovation in this space
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting issues for Linux, Mac and Windows desktop environments
Strong understanding of network infrastructure environments including LAN/WAN and mobile computing environments
